MILE HIGH HALLOWEEN, 2008

Grandpa Mike's 2008 masterpiece.

An afternoon walk with the family.

Finding a geocache in an undeveloped area near a golf course.

Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Swee'Pea.

An old rock star makes an appearance.

Ready to trick-or-treat in the 'hood.

Stirring the chili – ready to eat.

It sure looks like you had a lot of fun. Did either of you dress up? Surely Dad took a mask...

Mike wore a mask from his collection -- the one that looks like his head is wrapped by a snake. I just walked along in my Halloween sweatshirt.

We had considered dressing Mike as Wimpy. The best idea came out on Halloween -- Popeye's "Old Pap." Mike just wasn't much interested, I guess. No matter -- the kids are old enough that adults stayed back from the houses. KW

Looks like a fun night! Excellent jack o'lantern, Dad.

It was a fun night and an excellent haul of goodies. The Mile High Warnocks were so generous with the treats, allowing us to take a selection with us for the trip home. Grandpa Mike like Tootsie Pops, Tootsie Rolls, and "Mary Janes," so it's easy to share with him. He doesn't compete for the highly desirable chocolate confections. KW
