This portrait of Granddaughter Emerson taken as she turned two just begged to be posted. Her blue eyes have been inviting me to play. I think the photographer did a great job of capturing her smiling right into the camera.
Grandpa Mike and I are grateful for another young grandchild, and it's wonderful to be retired so that I can indulge my whims and make things for her. I hear she already has her Halloween costume. She's going to be a "blue monster." Next year we're thinking we might go to Denver to trick-or-treat with Emmy.

What a great photo. She's sooo cute. You can tell a lot about someone by the shoes they wear. Hers tell us she is very playful.
