Too bad that turnips & rutabegas are not used more often. They add nice texture to soups.Leahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07376635647754241996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263840964304974785.post-53771369246148060652012-12-18T07:56:03.834-08:002012-12-18T07:56:03.834-08:00I think that's what it's all about -- givi...I think that's what it's all about -- giving credit where credit is due, letting folks know what you've found that works -- and sometimes what doesn't work.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06105445880440567911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263840964304974785.post-16188519387807855382012-12-17T23:44:44.301-08:002012-12-17T23:44:44.301-08:00I'm sure we can share the recipe, but we need ...I'm sure we can share the recipe, but we need to give credit to the Whole Life Nutrition cookbook. Nick and I have made more recipes on a repeat basis from this cookbook than any I can think of. They were simply boiled and served with salt and pepper or cooked in stews. Nothing fancy. Mike speaks of turnip greens.

It's in the back of my mind to post Hallie's soup recipe.

As to the cookie cutters, I have a round cutter on hand and I figure that will work. That said, Hallie and Nick may stop Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06105445880440567911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263840964304974785.post-12634342323823752372012-12-17T14:47:19.278-08:002012-12-17T14:47:19.278-08:00Good thing you have a pickup!!

I think I did have a turnip last year in a stew they made and confess I didn't seem to mind it. Will we see the recipe for Hallie's soup?

So are you going to use a knife to make the cookie shapes? :-)Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03814824232124376605noreply@blogger.com
