I love packages!

Next month's club will be "do what you want" so you can still do the candle mats!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03814824232124376605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263840964304974785.post-2721407082874941922012-01-28T21:33:27.755-08:002012-01-28T21:33:27.755-08:00Hallie, you probably mean the December 1936 issue ...Hallie, you probably mean the December 1936 issue of Good Housekeeping I picked up before Christmas. I had been wishing for a magazine from the '30s and found it locally.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06105445880440567911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263840964304974785.post-26616456810175760572012-01-28T19:00:36.461-08:002012-01-28T19:00:36.461-08:00Old magazines are fun. It's interesting to see how much hasn't changed and how much HAS changed.Halliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05305271560327301083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263840964304974785.post-11672724907942657392012-01-27T07:53:42.885-08:002012-01-27T07:53:42.885-08:00"Things we carry evolve in time" -- anot..."Things we carry evolve in time" -- another interesting aspect of changing times. And then we forget. I couldn't help but wonder what one would carry in the flat hiking knapsack.

My family had quite the collection of give-away tote bags in the '80s (and T-shirts). I think that's changing, too. What luck! I have a vew vintage booklets, too, that I hold dear, but do not have the fortune of getting any from my mum as she does not/did not collect them. I just have the good fortune of having her still here to talk with about crafting and all sorts of things.drMolly, the BeanQueenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16925687175799797538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263840964304974785.post-77313459752366695322012-01-26T18:30:27.559-08:002012-01-26T18:30:27.559-08:00Guess the crocheted bags of the past have been rep...Guess the crocheted bags of the past have been replaced with today's "Tote Bags."
