LOUNGING DEER

We were sitting at supper the other night when Mike, whose seat at the table faces south, commented that he thought he could see deer in the south field. Taking the binoculars, he discovered a small herd of deer, all lying down.

We thought I probably couldn’t get a good picture as they were quite a ways away, but here is the result of my effort. At least you can count them – nine in all.

Actually, there were ten. The buck was up the hill some feet away from his haram. KW

Well, I wouldn't say it's never a dull moment, but as we are aware, we do see things. I'm anxious for the hummingbirds to come back.
