The picture doesn't do the moment justice. You can see by the body language that she knows she shouldn't be there, and her eyes were rolling back and forth. A number of factors have created this "chaise potato." 1) We're going to bed while it's still light out. 2) It's probably warm and uncomfortable in her house. 3) The chaise is comfortable and available. 4) She enjoys the night activity from the security of the porch. She lets Mike brush her teeth and goes through the routine of going out to her house, accepting her evening cookie. The minute Mike re-enters the back door, she streaks around the house to the front porch. By the way, she always has loved to lie on the bed pillows. I've told Mike that instead of a dog pillow, we should get her a bed pillow and her own satin case. XO

That is pretty cute! Is she sleeping there at night because it's warm or is it that she finds it more comfortable than her bed in the shed?

She is the cutest thing! And who wouldn't want to sleep there instead of the dog house? HA-HA-HA!!!
