A PICTORIAL REVIEW OF A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

The Snake River looking toward Lewiston on Saturday, April 23.

Grandpa Mike scored this new-in-the-box "Skip Hop" play table at Goodwill. Silas loved it. (He has a play table at home, too, so was totally familiar with the concept.) We were glad we had it.

Silas is six months old, and just as wonderful as any grandchild. The difference for us is that we get to see him from time to time. He has one tooth and was working on the second.

Oh, I love all the pictures!! Baby Silas looks so happy and comfortable in all of them. Nothing like family. And look at Clint--one-handed with him! And whose Barracuda is that? Mikes's?

Silas weighs almost 20 pounds, and this granny didn't complain, but I was so grateful I didn't have to carry him on a long journey. And yes, I think, too, that he is content with life. We have loved that he is accepting of us when we see him rather infrequently.

The Barracuda is Clint's. He bought it from a friend and rebuilt it. He drove it over to show Nick and Hallie and took them for a short ride.
